I'm Back

Had a few difficult days....
Spent the weekend getting my children ready to head back to school, ran around the house like a mad woman making sure we had all the essentuals crayons, makers, pencils, pens, socks, Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs, the last being the most important cause I was informed by my 16 yr old that "that is all I am wearing this year nothing else cause there the most comfortable" I'm not sure what underwear I wore as a 16 yr old but I'm sure that comfort was not something I was to concerned with. Must be a guy thing..... Got sick on Sunday night and spent all day Monday wrapped in a quilt on the couch with the chills and my husbands truck parked on my head. I felt weak and ached all over could barely get up to visit the can. My youngest desided this was a good time to recarpet the livingroom with his miniture GI Joe's there were vehicles, guns, cots,tents, bunkers, nets, and little GI men strewn everywhere, thank God I was not suffering from diaria too or there would have been trouble. All day as I fell in and out of sleep I was forced to liston to machine gun sounds, granades going off, vehicles backfiring and things like"this guy got blown up" "this guy lost an arm" "that guys tank blew up and he's got metal in his head" and "this guy can't find his toe" and "sergent were surrounded" and "retreet retreet" I felt like I was trapped in one of those cheesy army movies from the fiftys. It was pure hell, I was never so happy to get up and clean the house in all my life.
