Sun, Fun and Fish

My sister, brother-in-law and two neices spent a few days with us, and for something to do we decided to take them to are favorite fishing hole. So 4 adults, 3 kids, and a crabby teenager all piled in our Suburban and set out for a fun filed day of fishing. If you have ever seen one of my favorite movies "The Great Outdoors" it was the Ripleys and the Craiges all the way, My husband and I and are 2 boys 11 and 16 are the Ripleys, and my sister, her husband and their 2 girls, 9 and 12 are the Graiges. After listoning to the 3 little ones screaming and goofing around in the back seat and listoning to the teenager complain about all of us having to ride together and be scwished and not having enough room for his precious bumm, my sister and I were very exsited to start are fish-off that we were planing since her husband bought her a new fishing pole. Now I am like the Bill Dances of the fishing world and my sister 'well lets just say it' is like the Gomer Piles. Me and my slip-bobber watched her fish with her two-toned floatation devise that was the size of a tenis ball "I swear",every time she would cast it would caplunck in the water and scare all my fish away. I watched her get her line stuck in a tree, her line and her big-ass bobber(sorry that is the only way to discribe it) wrapped around her neck and her hook stuck in her ear, before I left for my own safety to go fish by my husband who was wearing his lucky shirt and his favorite hat and had one of his many fancy fishing poles and still managed to get out-fished by his youngest neice with her sponge bob fishing pole. I think there was talk of using my husbands fish for bait. All in all it was a fun day, we went for ice cream afterwards and went home to celibrate my neices 12th birthday.
