Books I am currently reading!!!
The Wonder Spot by: Melissa Bank
Boxers To Bandits by: Stephen Fortosis & Mary Graham Reid
Reach by: Laila Ali (Mohamid Ali's daughter)
All very good books and yes I am trying to finish all three at once, not because I am such an intellect, I just like to mix it up alittle. Lately I have had very little time to read, something I really need to work on since reading is one of the ways I wind down and relax. A good book, a cup of tea or coffee, and a half an hour to read before bed and I sleep like a baby. But since I only do this every two weeks when the hubs is workin the night shift it takes me a good long time to finish a book, and the dark circles under the eyes from the lack of sleep are really making there presence known. I have decided to set aside time each night to read if for nothing more than to help me get a good nights sleep, I am only 35 but some days I feel like I am 45 and barely have the energy to get through the day much less deal with the abligations of being a wife and a mother of two. I know it is because I do not get much sleep, I toss and turn most of the night, we go to bed late and get up early. I have heard others my age complain about the same thing (very little sleep). Is it our age or what I'm not really sure I just know that the experts say to try to spend at least a half an hour a day doing something for yourself that helps you relax. I do seem to sleep better when I read, not sure why. If you all have any sleep suggestions or any good book suggestions they would be greatly appreciated...

ANNA,
I have a few suggestions for books: anything by Elizabeth Ahern, Fern Michaels writes a few good books, and I'll have to get back to you on a few more I have recently read. I have been tearing through the books lately since I am no longer obligated to read text books.
As far as sleeping suggestions, try to clear your mind at night and think of absolutely nothing, in fact concentrate on thinking of nothing. A warm bath and a cup of decaffeinated tea or coffee. Although you may be used to drinking the caffeinated beverage, it could be the key to your problem sleeping. A bedtime routine that you follow every night religiously could also help. Also, moderate exercise such as walking 2-3 hrs before going to bed can also help. Just a few suggestions....... hope all is well. If I come up with anymore, i'll let u know.
blondie
