Noon and Six
We live in the country in alittle house with perennial gardens and a patio that my husband and I made a few years ago, on a little over an acre of land. Just down the road from us is a cute little Methodist church set in a clearing near a bridge. And every day at noon and six the bells play for a few minutes. You can hear them fairly well in the winter, on warm days when I happen to be home I open the windows and let the house air out just to hear them. In the summer they are very clear and sometimes I sit on the patio with my cup of coffee and just liston to the bells, they give me a since of peace in the hectic busy thing I call my life. We have often talked of selling this place since it is now like a little country comunnity with 5 little houses all near each other, but I know I would miss those bells and we bought this house when my oldest son was 3 and this is the only place my youngest has ever known. Some of our best memories are tied to this house, we even have a wall in our hallway that has the marks for every inch our children have grown . I've thought about it lately and for this time in our life this is right were we belong.
