Last Christmas

This is what looking for the perfect Christmas tree was like last year, we all picked our favorite tree but dad's tree won out. After all he was doing all the work so he got to pick.

And cut! And to answer your question yes the tree did fall on him before the boys decided to help. Oviously I had to hold the camera, you know document the occasion.
Saturday we will load the four of us and the dog in the jeep and head out to find the perfect tree for this year. We will bring it home and decorate it while enjoying a cup of hot cocoa with a dollop of Reddi Wip floating in it. Snow is in the forcast so of course we will have the fresh snowflakes to add to the five or six inches we already have. Snow on the ground while searching for a christmas tree, what a concept, as you can see in the picture very little snow last year. The last to or three years its been brown and dirty for our family tree hunting day, so I am really looking forward saturday....

Hi Anna,

Love the pictures of last years tree cutting. We always did that when my kids were kids. Now, my daughter and family go and cut down their own tree. It's a nice family tradition.

Hope you found the perfect tree for this Christmas.

Blessings,

Renie

Don't forget the gloves. That snow will be cold.

p.s. Don't forget the mistletoe!

Anna,
Hope you had a great time tree-hunting! Did you find the best one? These pics are great! So typical of the boys to stand there and let dad cut down the tree. Randy gets so irritated with our son for some of the same behaviors, go figure! Gotta love 'em though. Are you ready for Christmas? May HE richly bless you and yours this Holiday Season, Merry Christmas!

Hi Anna,
Hope you don't mind me stopping by. Loved the photos of Christmas Tree Picking. I have never been lucky enough to be able to go out looking for a real tree unfortunately here in Australia it not that popular yet!! We have a plastic tree that is stored up in the roof and comes out each year!! Hope you had a Great Christmas and all the best for the year 2008
Take Care Melinda
